About BargainSherpa
BargainSherpa combines a catalogue built from upstream brand data with practical, source-backed buying guides. It does not have complete product-level price history, conduct seller audits or guarantee that an offer is suitable.
Our mission
Give you a repeatable way to check
A “was $199, now $129” badge is a claim, not proof of the item's recent selling price. Our guides show how to record the exact item, compare the full cost, read conditions and preserve evidence. Each guide names its jurisdiction, source-check date and editorial review status.
Score boundary
What the catalogue score measures
The app maps upstream score and rating fields to /10. Listing order also groups supplied tracked offers and catalogue records, as explained in the methodology. The upstream methodology is not established here. The score does not test current price, discount history, seller identity, product quality or individual fit.
Who writes this
The BargainSherpa editorial desk
Buying guides are built and maintained by the BargainSherpa editorial desk — a collective editorial voice, not a fabricated individual “expert.” The desk checks the visible sources and dates on each guide. No named consumer-law specialist, financial adviser, product tester or security auditor is currently assigned as a site-wide reviewer.
Aggregator
A guide, not a retailer
BargainSherpa doesn’t sell anything, hold inventory or take payment. A catalogue link takes you to a third party. Confirm the contracting seller, final price, code, condition, eligibility and terms before paying.

Tell us if we got something wrong
Found an out-of-date term or a mistake in our maths? We want to fix it. Email the editorial desk at [email protected] and we'll review it. When we make a substantive guide correction, we update the visible date.
